Methodology: how Andorimo produces, verifies and updates its content
- Updated on
- La rédaction
The short answer
Every Andorimo page is written from official sources, checked figure by figure, then dated and reviewed again at fixed intervals.
Our principles
- Official sources first. Texts from the Govern d'Andorra, the official gazette (BOPA), and the Andorran and French tax authorities. Secondary sources (press, forums, firms) are used for cross-checking, never as sole proof.
- No sensitive figure written by hand. Amounts, thresholds, rates and deadlines live in a fact base. Each fact carries its value, its source, its verification date and its next review date.
- Regular review. Legal, tax and financial pages are reviewed every three months and whenever a text changes.
- No personalised advice. We inform and put people in touch. We do not replace individual advice.
- Transparency. Our commercial links are detailed on the commission transparency page.
The life of a page
| Step | Content |
|---|---|
| Brief | Main question, sub-questions, figures to source |
| Sources | Collection of official texts, each figure becomes a dated fact |
| Writing | Draft from the sources, "quick answer" block at the top |
| Check | Each figure matched to its source by a human |
| Publication | Update date visible, sources listed |
| Review | Every three months for sensitive topics, six months for the others |
What the labels on our pages mean
- "Verified on …": the date on which the value was matched against its official source.
- "Value being verified": we have not yet confirmed this figure, so we do not display it.
- Warning banner: the source may have changed, and the update is under way.
Asking prices and transaction prices
In the property market observatory, we always distinguish asking prices (what sellers ask) from transaction prices (what was paid). The two cannot be compared directly.
Corrections
When we correct an error, we update the page date and, if the error was significant, we note it at the bottom of the page.
Frequently asked questions
Are the articles written by AI?
We may use writing-assistance tools based on sources that we provide, but no content is published without a human fact check.
What happens when a rule changes?
The figure concerned is updated in one place in our fact base, which corrects every page that uses it. A short, dated news item explains the change.
How do I report an error?
Write to us via the contact page, giving the page address and the source that contradicts our text. We correct it and flag the correction.
