The short answer
Content creators must classify their activity (self-employed, company, copyright) before choosing a residency status. Platform income raises questions of taxation and VAT.

The best-suited status: international projection
If your clients and your audience are abroad, the status of professional with international projection requires: a registered office or base in Andorra, at most 1verified on 12/10/2026 person employed, and at least 85 %verified on 12/10/2026 of the services used outside Andorra. The holder pays a deposit of 47,500 €verified on 12/10/2026 (refundable after deduction of costs) and must establish the economic viability of the project in a sector selected by the government. See the page.
Or residency for remote workers
If your activity does not require a specific location, residency for remote workers requires a favourable decision from the Ministry of Economy, sufficient means, insurance, housing and 90 daysverified on 12/10/2026 of presence per year: see remote workers.
A creator's taxation
Andorran IRPF is 10 %verified on 09/10/2026. Depending on the structure, the company pays 10 %verified on 09/10/2026. The general IGI is 4.5 %verified on 09/10/2026; below 40,000 €verified on 09/10/2026 of annual turnover, you are not considered an entrepreneur: see IGI and VAT.
The risks
Living in Andorra without living off your foreign income under a coherent regime exposes you to a challenge from the French authorities: see leaving France. Platforms that pay income to a foreign company also raise VAT questions to be settled with an adviser.
